Deemed Unemployment in India
The Unemployment is that a person is not able to find a work for himself but “Deemed unemployment” is a person who is not able to find a training-related job for himself. If the person is trained in a specific job and does not get that related work that is called “deemed unemployment”. It’s big effect on the Economic. The following are examples of “deemed unemployment”
Railway Apprentices who did not get the job from the government and they are working at very low wages in non government sector. I, Shahid Siddiqui, discuss about “Deemed Unemployment” in this article. In the history of Railway CCAA since 1927, those who got trained in railway got immediate employment. Why didn’t the Current government do anything like this because Current government has privatized all these works? Result, we are facing deemed unemployment in India.
Deemed unemployment is directly affect our economy, today we can measure the rate of unemployment but we could not measure the “deemed unemployment”.
